By accessing or using ClearClause at clearclause.co ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Site.

ClearClause provides a free, browser-based tool that helps freelancers and independent contractors generate contract templates. The service is provided "as is" and is free of charge. The Site is supported by display advertising.

      Important: The contracts generated by ClearClause are templates for informational purposes only. They do not constitute legal advice. ClearClause is not a law firm and does not provide legal services. Always consult a qualified attorney for contracts involving significant value or complex arrangements.

The generated documents are templates, not legal counsel.
You are solely responsible for reviewing and customizing contracts before use.
ClearClause is not liable for any outcomes arising from use of generated contracts.

Permitted Use

You may use ClearClause to generate contract templates for your personal or professional freelance work. You may download, print, and edit the generated contracts for legitimate business purposes.

You may not:

Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the generated templates as a commercial product.
Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or interact with the Site.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate the Site's functionality for a competing service.
Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.

Intellectual Property

The ClearClause name, logo, design, and website code are owned by ClearClause and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

The contract text generated by the tool — once you have customized it with your own information — is yours. We make no claim over the content of contracts you generate and download for your own use.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

Fitness for a particular purpose
Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of contract templates
Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Site

ClearClause does not warrant that generated contracts will be legally enforceable in any particular jurisdiction.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClearClause and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Site or any contracts generated through it.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the service (which, as the service is free, is zero).
